Dear Sayde,
Hi my name is Rita. I liked reading about your adventure at Wildwood Academy for the Preforming Arts. I am a freshman at John Carroll High School. I live in Forest Hill, Maryland. I know your summer has been just okay, but I have been doing exciting things too. I went to Puerto Rico, and island couple miles of the coast of Florida, and I also went to Ocean City, Maryland. Ocean city has beaches and a boardwalk with rides, games, and my favorite shopping. It was a really fun summer.
I liked reading about your experiences at Wildwood. I know you probably didn’t have the greatest time there because you got kicked out, but the concept of the camp sounds fun. I liked how you pointed out how your town was ‘razzle-dazzle deprived.’ The switch from Brenton, Ohio to Wildwood must have been totally different for you and Demi. I was surprised that you and Demi weren’t good friends towards the middle and end.
I liked how the reader described your surroundings and your family before the story really started. I didn’t like the way the author told us about your lessons in acting and dancing before he mentioned that you were and actress. It was weird because you really weren’t expecting it and it kind just hit you with a surprise.
I would like to know why you didn’t give it your all when you were in auditions. You seemed timid and scared. I understand being nervous but always give it your all.
In this novel there were many issues you dealt with. The first was the jealousy and talking behind your friends back. There were many consequences that you suffered just like when you talked behind Nanette’s back and she found out our almost lost each other friend ship. I would also like I point out the troubles and consequences of teen drinking. You got in a lot of trouble for the drinking on top of the boys’ dorm, and you were kicked out. I say wait till your old enough to drink or you could seriously get hurt or sick.
I hope you got this letter and would like to remind you to stay out of trouble. I think you should still chase your acting dreams. Have fun in Ohio.
Sincerely,
Rita
