- Research shows that kids who have there fiat drink before the age 15 will become addicted to alcohol.
- 40 percent of crashes caused by drunk driv9ing involved teens under the influence.
- Alcohol can cause stomach ulcers, heart attacks, and brain damage.
- Teens who drink can also start family problems, they will withdraw themselves from their family.
- They can become addicted to the alcohol.
- Teens feel that once they are ok with alcohol that drugs are also ok.
- Teens often drive under the influence.
- Youthful immature organs can be poisoned.
- Almost 20 percent of 12thgraders have had an alcoholic beverage in the past month.
Underage Drinking
- nearly 50 percent of adolescents have had at least one drink
- 20 percent report having been "drunk"
- Approximately 20 percent of 8th graders and almost 50 percent of 12th graders have consumed alcohol within the past 30 days
